I was a person who was very shy to speak to new faces. At the WKC hostel, I could meet my seniors who taught me how to interact with people. It was from that moment I started speaking comfortably and made a bunch of friends. Every single day spent at WKC and the hostel is just amazing!

The first thing I fondly remember being at the hostel is food, same as at home with western cuisines. The hostel also reminds me of our late-night essay practice and drama rehearsals. Our preparations would be fun-filled. After looking at the zero wastage at the hostel, I applied the same principle in my life. I am thankful to TVM Sir for providing us with these facilities.

The first time when I came to the hostel with my Dad, I felt like I came to a 5-star Hotel. Facilities here are far better than in my home. Staying in a hostel was one of my dreams come true. It was a great experience to make friends from different parts of the country and learn with them. It was the most beautiful part of my life, which I cherish till today. Thank you so much, T.V Mohandas Pai Maam, for your vision and for providing us with the best facilities and learnings at WKC that made us what we are today. I thank the WKC family from the bottom of my heart.

When I signed up for my first WKC camp, I was unsure why I needed to stay at a hostel when my home was twenty minutes away. But staying at the hostel helped me absorb the learnings from sessions of the day and not switch off at the end of the day. The hostel stay helped me make new friends. I still cherish staying up late and having discussions in the cafe - about an upcoming presentation, about our plans for the future, or just socializing. It was a critical part of my experience at WKC, and I'm very grateful for the privilege.

The hostel has always been homely to us. We can reach out there at any point in the day. The best memory I have is celebrating New year at the hostel. We brought snacks from all around Mangalore, gathered and celebrated them together. The hostel doors are always welcome to us.

Some moments are cherished for a lifetime, and strenuous to define a moment when you have all the cumulative experiences and memories bundled only with Joy. Being part of WKC is one such moment. The time spent in hostels, campfires, and excursions has been filled with tremendous joy and learning. It's been wonderful to know all Konkani-speaking people under one roof. Thank you for all the tremendous support.

I always looked forward to the camps at WKC hostel. The random chats at the long corridor, staying up late to play games and complete our learning assignments, waiting in line for the delicious mirchi bajjis and tea after a long day is something I cannot forget. The beds were so comfortable, and the dining area created a family dinner time vibe. It was indeed a home away from home.

First thing I remember when I hear WKC hostel is the dining room where the delicious food is served and the games we played late at night. I have a lot of memories in the WKC dining room! The hostel has the best infrastructure and a peaceful environment.

An email from WKC always accompanied the excitement to meet friends, learn something new, and of course, the stay at the hostel, the first luxurious accommodation most of us experienced. The long hallway, perfectly set up dorms, bright mirrors, roof mount cloth dryers, and every other minute detail were perfectly taken care of. Given a chance, every alumnus would look towards getting back to WKC as a scholar and relive those memories
