I was scared thinking about living out of home for the very first time with strangers. But then, when I reached the WKC hostel, it didn't feel as though I was away from home at all. WKC accepted me as their own. The feeling of uncertainty turned into happiness and then sadness as my stay came to an end. It was such a comfortable place with amazing food and the best people. I'm forever grateful for the blessing, the opportunity to be part of the WKC and Vkssf family. A big thanks to our dear Shri T. V. Mohandas Pai for being an extraordinary visionary.

The WKC Hostel is one of its kind and is the reason for so many beautiful experiences. The beautifully designed interiors, the photographs of Goan temples, the amazing rooms, the dining room where all the fun used to happen, and the campus, make me feel like a part of such a Uber Class facility. I would never forget the late-night anthakshari, hide n seek, dumb charades, and spooky ghost stories. We made the best of friends for a lifetime and built a great network staying at this hostel. The hostel was comforting home to us during our stays at WKC. Thank you, TVM Sir for blessing this experience on us.

Right from the first day, WKC hostel made me aspire to achieve big and live in a home with the same world-class facilities. A place that creates memories and bonds for lifetime, WKC hostel is home: to me, to all of us! Thanks a ton, TVM sir, for giving us this permanent home!

WKC hostel is undoubtedly one of the best things that have happened in my life. Meeting amazing friends, the delicious food, the campfire, the fun games are some of the few Nostalgic memories of the WKC hostel. My most memorable nostalgic moment was our dance performance in 5th camp. It was completely a last moment dance, and we hardly practiced once or twice. Surprisingly when we performed it on stage, it was a massive hit.

"WKC in everyone's heart holds a very special place, Little scared of mentors' gaze, And the small games/competitions, where everyone wanted to ace, Campfire is more than a craze, Begging for sleep with seniors with a puppy face, Playing random games at midnight where there's space, Banging doors at night and supplying everyone lays, Getting interviewed for the first time made our hearts race, Though we spoke different Konkanis, still we were at the same pace, It was a lovely phase. Those were my best WKC days!"

The beauty of this hostel is such that after looking at it, my mother called my brother and asked him to study well to get an opportunity to get training from a top-notch organization like WKC.

The bond that has been built through the WKC Hostel makes me feel like going back there again. From getting up early morning, waking up roommates, going together for the food, doing assignments or preparation together, late-night chats, playing dumb charades, UNO, etc. There are not one or two but many moments that come to my mind while thinking of WKC Hostel. I can proudly say amongst all the hostels, OUR WKC Hostel has the best food served, even till today.

The WKC hostel has left a lot of memories in my life at every camp. Sleepless nights, practicing for skits, programs, and tasks as part of training with the group members. Sharing, playing games, and chatting with seniors made every day at the hostel brighter and colorful.

The hostel tops the list if we did a comparison with other hostels. Such were the facilities available in the hostel. They always served delicious authentic food with highest of standards. Interaction with people from different colleges and branches were of great pleasure.

Those were the wonderful days which we spent at the WKC hostel. Being the 1st batch, we were first to enjoy the stay at the hostel. It is the place where scholars from different regions stay together as a family. We all got to know each other and shared our life experiences. All the funs and joyful moments created some attachment within us. That cool evening walks outside hostel and campfires are lifetime memories. When the brains were getting charged during training, our stomachs were always making hungry noise towards tasty food served at the hostel. Cherishing those memories, I Thank TVM sir and all the dignitaries for providing the support and blessings. I also thank all the elders to bring us together at WKC with the noble cause of the development of all scholars, which is the ultimate development of the Konkani community.
